Minecraft - Pocket Edition is an 8-bit game where you build creations out of different types of blocks. Released in November of 2011, Minecraft - Pocket Edition was created to be like Minecraft Creative. Based on tons of feedback from it's users, Mojang decided to change its strategy and create Minecraft more like the desktop version.

As of update v0.2.0 alpha, Pocket Edition brought with it Sheep, Zombies, Survival Mode, the ability to fly in Creative Mode, and many new blocks. This was a much needed update to bring Pocket Edition closer to the desktop version of Minecraft.

Crafting is said to be coming soon as well.
